About Jay

Jay has served as the OJP Director since February of 2010 and is responsible for the management of all of OJP’s activities. Jay earned his Master’s Degree from the Washington Theological Union in Washington, DC and is also a graduate of Villanova University in Villanova, PA.

Before his time with OJP, Jay worked to assist parishes in Washington, DC and the surrounding counties in Maryland through Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Washington.

About Jim

James Albright has been a Regional Coordinator for the Office of Justice and Peace of Commonwealth Catholic Charities and the Coordinator for the Migrant Farm Worker Ministry since 2009. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Management and a Master’s degree in Religion and Religious Studies from Fordham University in the Bronx, New York. Jim spent 16 years living as a member of a community of religious brothers. He has taught the fifth grade in a Catholic grade school in the Bronx, and religion classes at two Catholic high schools in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. (He also coordinated both high schools’ required community service projects.) Also in the Washington, D.C. area, Jim provided social services and managed a 90 unit, SRO, transitional housing facility for an agency dedicated to serving individuals who were homeless. He spent a year as a community organizer working with tenants of apartment buildings, and the local neighborhood, trying to better the quality of their community in the Bronx.

Prior to coming to the Catholic Diocese of Richmond as the Coordinator of Migrant Farm Worker Ministry in 1996, Jim was a rural pastoral outreach worker for a seven county area in southern Georgia. He is a certified volunteer ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher and is always becoming more proficient in Spanish. He enjoys his family (his wife, six adult step children and 10 grandchildren) and his volunteer work at his local church.

About Justin

Justin Reilly has served as a Regional Coordinator with the Office of Justice and Peace since June 2010, and is responsible for Prison Ministry and Southwest Virginia Ministries.

He earned a master’s degree in Theological Studies from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. While in Nashville, Justin worked as the Director of an inner city Youth Program at his neighborhood community center. He is also a graduate of the University of South Carolina.
