Office for Black Catholics

What We Do

We evangelize and provide opportunities for Black Catholics to participate in activities that blend their faith and culture.

Annual Spiritual Retreat

The Annual Spiritual Retreat is open to adults of all cultures and provides opportunities to participate in liturgy, prayer, discussion, and fellowship in order to renew our spirituality which often gets depleted with the day-to-day activities and is lead by dynamic facilitator/speaker. The Annual Retreat is usually held the second weekend of November.

Young Adult Retreat

The young adult retreat is open to adults age 18 - 39 of all cultures. We are committed to the challenge of continuing our formation after high school and making our faith a priority in our lives. We seek representation and give voice to those who are younger. Join us as we break the cycle of diminishing our presence in the Church as young adults. The Young Adult Retreat is usually held the first weekend of June.
