Rules & Regulations
The Diocese of Richmond is in full compliance with the Charter for the Protection of Children and Young People. In an effort to keep our youth safe, we follow the diocesan Safe Environment Program.
Along with the Safe Environment Program, there are other considerations for working with youth, especially when it comes to off-site activities.
Parishes need to ensure that they have permission slips or release forms for every minor signed by a parent/guardian. Any photography or video of minors requires a release form signed by a parent/guardian.
In addition, all chaperones are expected to conduct themselves in a way that models the Christian life.
